bbbowls

Hi lovelies!

Here I am once again with something that has to do with food. What can I say, I don’t live on it, I live for it. Haha. But let’s be serious: breakfast is the most important meal of the day and therefore it demands to be digested rightly. Oatmeal is a great choice since it fills you up and it keeps you stuffed for hours! No early snacking before having lunch anymore. However, you don’t even necessarily have to use oatmeal in all of the recipes below, it is up to you. What each bowl at least contains are super foods and yummy and energizing fruits that are super good for you. Keep on reading to find out what the ingredients and heavenly combinations are. Get inspired (and excited) for these four “power bowls”. Enjoy!

1. Tropical Exoticness

For a sweet, exotic, rich, fresh, fruity and a taste-explosion: give this a try. The ingredients are:

  • mango
  • pineapple
  • banana
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • apricots
  • vigs (I used dried ones, but you can also use ripe vigs)
  • chia berries or chia powder
  • acai berries
  • hennep seeds (no, this won’t get you high)
  • goji berries
  • coconut rasps
  • bee pollen

As you can see I did not chose to add oatmeal with this particular recipe because I didn’t think that it would match that well. I also didn’t use yoghurt this time, but that’s totally up to you. Adding (lactose-free) yoghurt to this would be a great choice!

2.“I’m in love with the cacao”

For all you (healthy) chocolate lovers, this one’s for you. Other people; hold up! The fact that this contains cacao does not mean that this combo-bowl is less healthy than the others! These are the ingredients:

  • raw cacao nips
  • banana
  • granola
  • chia seeds
  • some cinnamon
  • honey

That’s it! It is delish, simple to make and only contains 6 ingredients. Warning: this is not as sweet and sugary as you might think! Because the cacao is unsweetened and therefore pure and raw, it actually tastes quite bitter. For natural sweeteners I’d suggest adding some maple syrup (combined with the honey).

3. Fruity Freshness

In a mood for some fresh fruits combined with crunchy nuts and other good stuff? Maybe try this one out. You can variate a lot with this recipe (just like the other ones), but this has been my go-to breakfast since quite a while now. These are the ingredients:

  • raspberries
  • goji berries
  • banana
  • acai berries
  • blueberries
  • chia seeds
  • (gluten free) granola
  • walnuts
  • a little hand of a mix of dried fruits

You can use yoghurt / oatmeal with this, it doesn’t really matter that much.

4. Sweet Oatmeal Combo

Okay, this one definitely is my favourite. The sweetness, the softness, the flavours, everything is perfect about this oatie breakfast. Here are the ingredients:

  • banana
  • dades
  • dried vigs
  • honey
  • cinnamon
  • walnuts
  • dried apricots
  • bee pollen
  • chia seeds
  • oatmeal

Did you try one out? Which one do you prefer?
